ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Computer Science Lecturer to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science, hands-on experience with programming, and a commitment to fostering student success through engaging, practical, and student-centered teaching methodologies.
Location: Al Qusais, Dubai

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and deliver high-quality computer science courses in alignment with institutional curricula.
  • Teach programming languages (Java, Python, C++) and core concepts in software development, databases, and digital literacy.
  • Create an interactive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and collaboration.
  • Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and tailor teaching approaches to diverse learning needs.
  • Integrate real-world applications and project-based learning to bridge theory and practice.
  • Utilize modern teaching tools (e.g., IDEs, LMS platforms, coding labs) to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with faculty to refine curriculum and adopt best practices in computer science education.
  • Mentor students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in technical projects.
  • Maintain accurate academic records (attendance, grades, assessments) and uphold institutional policies.
  • Participate in professional development to stay updated on industry and educational trends.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support academic progress.
