Description

We have an exciting opportunity within our Lifecycle Portfolio team as an IT Lifecycle Planning Manager.
Reporting into the Senior IT Portfolio Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the lifecycle of several hundred technology products, both applications and infrastructure. You’ll be part of the Lifecycle Portfolio Team, responsible for ensuring each technology product has a well-defined roadmap, aligning the efforts of IT application owners, enterprise architects and project managers. With our ambitious plan to decommission over 100 applications in the next three years, this initiative aims to simplify our technology landscape, reduce costs and enhance the overall customer experience.
You’ll track, guide and support projects to ensure that we realize the benefits of decommissioning legacy technologies. Whilst this role owns the decommissioning process, it does not encompass direct project delivery, this position is ideal for individuals with a background in architecture, IT service management or IT project management.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You’ll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
