QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in related field
  • 3-5 years of management experience in a hands-on leadership role
  • Experience in information technology space and solving various software and hardware problems
  • Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills
Responsibilities

Overall responsibilities include:

  • Design, build, and ongoing maintenance of on-prem data center environments, including power, cooling, rack/stack
  • Support of internal corporate infrastructure
  • Commercial SaaS applications
  • Implementation of project deliverables
  • Hardware and software lifecycle management
  • IT security, performance, and availability

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical direction, workload management, and prioritization of tasks for the team
  • Implementation and operational administration of hardware and software upgrades and deployments
  • Apply security remediation, vulnerability, and patch management
  • Collaborating with security/compliance, system, and network architects to design and implement enterprise systems serving internal and external customer needs
  • Maintaining infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity management
  • Improving, maintaining, and disaster recovery application migration
  • Logging, monitoring, and alerting of infrastructure
  • Documentation of infrastructure process, procedures, and asset management
  • Ensuring data integrity, availability, security, and recoverability
  • Participating in on-call rotation, incident response, and be a point of escalation for the tea
