PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The IT Manager leads the planning, implementation, security, and continuous optimization of the organization’s digital systems and infrastructure. This includes the full deployment of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, cybersecurity systems, and cloud-based services. The role ensures that all IT operations are aligned with the organization’s goals while maintaining data integrity, privacy, and compliance with UAE laws.
This position also serves as the Group’s IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Professional, responsible for designing and enforcing security protocols, managing IT risks, and overseeing a resilient and scalable IT architecture across all business units.
ROLE, RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY
IT Infrastructure, Networking & Cybersecurity
1. Lead the design, upgrade, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud environments, and user endpoints.
2. Monitor system performance and proactively identify vulnerabilities or inefficiencies.
3. Establish, update, and enforce company-wide cybersecurity protocols to protect systems, data, and stakeholders.
4. Oversee access controls, data encryption, firewall protection, and real-time threat detection systems.
5. Conduct regular penetration testing, disaster recovery simulations, and vulnerability assessments.
6. Ensure proper backup and recovery procedures are in place and tested regularly.
7. Manage hardware/software procurement, asset tracking, and e-waste control.
ERP & AI Implementation
8. Lead full-cycle ERP implementation (e.g., Zoho, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce).
9. Introduce and integrate AI systems that support automation, analytics, and decision-making.
10. Collaborate with departments to ensure all system configurations align with operational workflows.
11. Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines for digital system rollouts.
12. Provide end-user training and support for new technologies.
IT Policy, Compliance & Governance
13. Draft and enforce IT policies, SOPs, usage guidelines, and data privacy frameworks.
14. Ensure compliance with UAE cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory standards.
15. Evaluate third-party systems and services for security, quality, and legal compliance.
16. Document incidents, prepare audit reports, and maintain system logs for accountability.
17. Report on IT performance, risk levels, and user adoption metrics to executive management.
Quality, Training & User Support
18. Deliver training sessions, manuals, and one-on-one support for users at all levels.
19. Regularly gather feedback from users to enhance system functionality and experience.
20. Monitor and report on the quality and efficiency of IT tools in use across the company.
21. Provide IT-related support for external inspections, certifications, or audit readiness.
