Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and hands-on IT Junior Manager to support daily IT operations and ensure the smooth functioning of technical systems. This role combines technical support responsibilities with light management oversight, making it ideal for someone who is self-driven, reliable, and comfortable working with minimal supervision. The role requires full ownership of the local IT administration while also collaborating closely with the wider Corporate IT team to support the global administration of our offices across EMEA, APAC, and the US. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity, supporting users, and contributing to global IT initiatives and standards. This is a primarily on-site position, with full-time presence preferred from our Bucharest office. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and user issues Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems in a timely and efficient manner Assist in maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals Support basic network operations (e.g., connectivity issues, device configuration, monitoring) Coordinate with external vendors or senior IT staff when required Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and issue resolutions Ensure systems are secure, updated, and functioning optimally Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes (user setup, access rights, equipment allocation) Minimum Requirements 6 - 9 years of experience in IT support or a similar role Solid understanding of technical support fundamentals (Windows/Mac OS, common business applications) Basic to intermediate network knowledge (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, LAN troubleshooting) Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Good communication skills with a user-focused mindset Preferred Requirements Experience with IT ticketing systems Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace) Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus Why Join Aeris?
