The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations, personnel, and long-term goals of the IT department across the entire organization. This role will have an impact on the day-to-day efficiencies, processes, mentoring and developing team members, and long-term growth strategies to support the Company goals. This role is vital in the Company’s growth and will be a key player working with many departments to ensure the Company’s success. Requirements ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Hire, develop, mentor, and oversee all IT team members Maintain and enhance all essential IT functions, including but not limited to, networks, IT infrastructures, servers, operating systems, security tools, laptops, software, and IT hardware Own the responsibilities of IT projects and solutions that are in support of the Company’s strategic initiatives and goals Handle and delegate all critical or urgent IT tasks and systems administrations Analyze departmental needs, identify and propose opportunities to improve department productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to scale with Company’s growth Prepare cost-benefit and ROI analyses when upgrades are necessary to present to Executive Management for final approval Develop and maintain all IT vendor relationships to ensure services and/or products meet Company expectations Maintain, develop, review, and implement all IT related Standard Operating Procedures Maintain, improve, and document all cyber security processes and procedures including assisting in evaluation in insurance policies to protect the Company from external attacks Standardize IT hardware, servers, and networks across the organization Work with Finance to develop and maintain IT budgets Maintain, test, and document as needed the Company’s Disaster Recovery Plan and ensure all backups/failsafe solutions are working properly Work closely with various department managers to ensure IT support is delivered as needed Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the CFO or CEO QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS COMPETENCIES Deep knowledge of programming languages, operating systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, and current IT hardware and equipment Strong working knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery procedures and system performance monitoring Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with staff, vendors, and leadership Proven leadership ability: coaching, performance management, and team development Analytical mindset for budgeting, cost analysis, and process improvement EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related degree preferred 5-7 years of IT experience required, two (2) years of management experience preferred Professional IT certifications such as cloud computing, cyber security, and programming preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Ability to sit in a desk setting for normal business hours operations Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and navigate confined spaces Must be available for on-call emergencies outside regular business hours Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform routine physical tasks (e.g., walking, standing, kneeling) BENEFITS Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Fully Covered by the Company Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) Insurance for Accidents, Hospitalizations, and Critical Illness 401K with company match.
