POSITION OVERVIEW:
Company is seeking a skilled and strategic IT Manager to lead our technology operations and align IT initiatives with our business goals. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all IT-related activities across the organization. You will manage the daily operations of the IT department while driving long-term improvements and innovation.
As IT Manager, you’ll collaborate with leadership and department heads to evaluate technology needs and implement cost-effective, scalable solutions. You’ll also be responsible for establishing and enforcing IT policies, procedures, and best practices that support the company’s operational efficiency and security.
This is a key leadership position for someone who thrives on improving systems, aligning IT with business strategy, and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
REQUIREMENTS
· Formal training in Information Technology or a closely related field is required; Bachelors degree is strongly preferred
· A minimum of five (5) years experience in Information Technology is required, with at least two (2) years in a leadership or managerial role
· Strong proficiency in SQL (writing queries, stored procedures, performance tuning) is essential
· Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Acumatica, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar) is required
· Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and system integration
· Experience with Tableau is preferred
· Proven strong leadership skills are required
· Must be a creative problem solver and have a high level of enthusiasm
· Previous experience creating a departmental budget and efficiently tracking expenditures is required
· Must be internet tech savvy and current on the latest technologies
· Must be very detail oriented and have excellent communication skills

· Lead the IT department’s operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
· Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals and Office Automation equipment.
· Research and evaluate new technology, techniques, threats, and industry best practices to maximize cyber security and minimize vulnerabilities.
· Benchmark, analyze, report on and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.
· Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.
· Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
· Keep current with the latest technological advances.
· Manage financial aspects of the IT department, including purchasing, budgeting and budget review.
· Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
· Approve and oversee projects and project portfolio.
· Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, purchasing and service provision.
· Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer and consultant contracts and service agreements.
· Practice asset management for IT hardware, software and equipment.
· Manage IT staffing, including selection, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation and disciplinary actions.
· Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the leadership team, department heads and end users regarding pertinent IT activities.
