We’re looking for an experienced IT Manager, operating from our site in Solihull. As the IT Manager you will have responsibility for the IT Services delivered at site, ensuring all services, applications and IT infrastructure stays fully operational.
The IT Manager takes ownership of all on-site based IT services, while driving a culture of Continuous Improvement and the uplifting of innovation and digitalisation initiatives in line with the IT growth performance agenda. This role requires a hands-on approach in providing first line support with hardware, software & end-user requests and at the same time, the ability to lead all development activities and projects such as system implementations and upgrades.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the performance of the site-based IT systems (TMS and core DHL IT systems) against SLA or OLA.
  • Analyse requirements, advise on and project manage system improvements and updates.
  • Coordination of daily IT activity and IT implementation activity within business area and ongoing support.
  • Ensuring engagement of customer, business resources & delivery of results. Effective communication is vital for success in this role.
  • Within this role, you will need to work with internal and external customers, suppliers, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders to collaboratively set exciting but realistic targets and define the action plans for achieving these aims following the business unit agenda.
  • Effective coordination of resources and communications.
