Daytime Monday - Friday Rotational Shift, Working between the hours of, Earliest Start 5AM, Latest finish 10PM

8 HOUR DAY

Monday to Monday standby out of hours cover 1 week in every 3 over and above daytime hours. (This will offer a stand-by remuneration fee)
Location: Hybrid, 50% travel to other airport sites if and when required
DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a IT Manager, to provide on-site support, maintenance, and fault diagnosis and to manage the resolution of any IT operational problems.

Responsibilities:

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will be responsible for:

  • Accountable for providing IT services to a number of large sites within a Business unit - typically managing high complex and large scale IT operations.
  • The role will be coordinating activity within the sites and will be the primary contact for all IT service provision, ranging from site based account Management to internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.This role will be to coordinate and work with the site based teams to identify areas for development to deliver IT solutions to meet the business needs of today and the future.
  • The role will lead and manage site based IT operations and will coordinate and represent the IT agenda at the sites.
  • The delivery of these objectives will be through budget and cost management, team leadership and management and generating an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Multiple contracts, 17 sites
