Description JOB SUMMARY Gunton Corporation, the largest independent distributor of Pella Windows & Doors in the country, is an innovative leader in our industry. Our Sales Representatives provide solutions for our customers' window and door needs and are key to our success since 1932. The IT Manager oversees and manages the Information Technology department and all technology across the company. In addition to ensuring reliable day-to-day operations, this role is responsible for aligning technology strategy with business objectives and driving process improvement across the organization. The IT Manager serves as the senior internal technology leader, balancing hands-on operational leadership with forward-looking planning and strategic advisory support to management. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage, develop, and lead the IT department. Develop, recommend, and execute a technology roadmap aligned with company strategy, growth plans, and operational priorities. Partner with senior leadership to evaluate how technology can enable business processes, improve efficiency, mitigate risk, and support scalability. Proactively evaluate emerging technologies and recommend practical solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Develop and maintain trusting relationships and communication with peers, the management team, and external team members enhancing the ability to provide outstanding customer service. Serve as a trusted advisor to management on technology investments, priorities, and trade-offs. Departmental duties: Maintaining a high level of system uptime Application development and report Enhancements Computer builds and configurations Upgrades and software deployments All servers and network electronics Telco equipment and configurations (VoIP, iPhones, iPads) Management of the M365 and Azure environments Maintaining VAR and vendor relationships Maintaining a secure and resilient network Serve as the senior escalation point for complex Helpdesk issues, documenting resolutions. Document system procedures as needed Organization of tasks and projects via the IT Task/Project list REPORTING RELATIONSHIP Reports to Chief Financial Officer MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Technical expertise in software, hardware, and processes including Windows Client and Server background Experience in Microsoft administration (includes Server, Azure, M365) Experience with Cisco Meraki PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS College degree Gunton Corporation is pleased to be an equal employment employer.
