IT MANAGER

Company: Heaven Media Ltd
Location: Hybrid – Home/Office (PE28 3BQ)
Hours: Part-time: 25 hours/week Mon-Fri 10:30 – 15:30 + On-call
Salary: £20,000 - £26,666 per annum, depending on experience + £40/hour On-call
Heaven Media Ltd is looking for an experienced IT Manager. In this hands-on role, you’ll be central to the daily operations of our IT functions. You will have experience in IT infrastructure, providing technical support to remote teams, applying cyber security principles and managing software and hardware.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and maintaining IT infrastructure and systems across the business.
  • Leading cybersecurity efforts and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Provide timely hands-on helpdesk support and training to end-users.
  • Flexibility to be on-call outside of contracted hours to assist with IT support should an urgent/critical need arise.
  • Implement, configure, and monitor IT services to ensure optimal functionality, security, user experience, and high system availability through timely issue resolution.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to align IT with business goals and departmental budgets.
  • Developing robust IT risk management, archive, recovery, and backup strategies.
  • Manage and administer the Microsoft Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other associated applications.
  • Oversees the hardware lifecycle including user requirements, sourcing options, purchasing, setup, shipping, maintenance, and asset tracking.
  • Oversees the software lifecycle including evaluating needs, sourcing solutions, purchasing, configuration, integrations, security, updates, evaluating, managing vendors, renewals and registers.
  • Responsible for contributing to the creation and enforcement of IT-related company policies and processes.
  • Responsible for ensuring the security, performance, maintenance, and continuity of the company’s websites and domains, including renewals and technical issue resolution.
  • To undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required.
  • To support and participate in the formulation of standards and procedures for quality management and customer care expectations.
  • To attend such training/personal development courses as may be considered necessary.
