ID Logistics Canada – XYY1 in Ajax, ON is looking for a full time IT Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Site Manager, the IT Manager will be responsible for the following:

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s or IT certifications an asset)
· 5+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or management role
· Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, networks, and enterprise systems
· Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, wireless) and server administration
· Experience with cloud platforms and proficiency in database management
· Strong understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, and data privacy best practices
· Excellent leadership and people management skills; ability to mentor and motivate a team
· Strong project management, organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
· Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
· Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced, changing environment

Responsibilities

· Oversee the daily operations of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure
· Manage helpdesk support to ensure timely resolution of technical issues
· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot outages or slowdowns
· Lead, mentor, and support IT staff to build a high-performing team
· Assign and prioritize tasks, set performance goals, and conduct evaluations
· Provide training and development opportunities for team members
· Maintain servers, databases, networks, and business applications, implement upgrades, patches, and system updates
· Ensure cybersecurity protections are in place (firewalls, antivirus, backups, monitoring)
· Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy to support business goals
· Plan and manage IT budgets, including hardware, software, and vendor contracts
· Ensure compliance with data protection, privacy laws, and internal policies
· Create and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
· Conduct regular audits and risk assessments
· Partner with leadership and department heads to understand technology needs
· Communicate IT policies and best practices across the organization
