Come be part of Inetum! Job Description We are currently looking for an experienced IT Manager to join one of our projects in Braga (on-site). This role is ideal for a professional who combines a strong strategic mindset with hands-on technical expertise, capable of leading IT operations with autonomy while staying close to the day-to-day technical challenges. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, evolution, and alignment of IT services with business needs, contributing directly to the efficiency and performance of the organization. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT function, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs. Your main responsibilities will include: Leading the IT function, including team management, vendors, budget, and priorities Ensuring the availability, security, and continuous improvement of information systems Aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, proposing and implementing enhancements Analyzing complex situations and providing clear, data-driven recommendations Taking ownership of technical decisions and ensuring execution Supporting system administration activities when required (Windows Server, networks, cloud environments such as Azure/AWS) Managing contracts and relationships with technology partners and service providers Qualifications Proven experience in IT management roles (minimum 5 years) Strong technical background in infrastructure: networks, servers, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.) Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) is a plus Experience managing end-to-end IT projects Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution Strong analytical skills and critical thinking Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders Pragmatic mindset: knowing when to escalate and when to take action High level of autonomy, ownership, and accountability
