JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Manager to manage all computer related Information Technology Systems (IT) including network administration; hardware and software review; purchasing; customer support and installation; surveillance, and telecommunication systems. To manage IT operations to maintain and improve services to casino Guests and to enhance the performance of Team Members.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages all computer related Information Technology Systems (IT) including network administration; hardware and software review; purchase; support and installation; and telecommunication systems support.
  • Manages IT operations to maintain and improve services to casino Guests and to enhance the performance of Team Members.
  • Meets with various computer hardware and software vendors to evaluate and discuss computer support systems. Negotiates for products and services, as directed.
  • Maintains a current state-of-the-art knowledge of various computer hardware and software products and services. Ensures that reference and technical manuals are up-to-date and complete.
  • Ensures that all computer hardware and software systems are properly maintained and serviced as scheduled or required, including preventive maintenance, repair, replacement, and programming updates.
  • Manages a budget and complies with departmental policies and procedures for purchasing supplies, equipment, and services. Obtains all necessary authorizations, as required.
  • Maintains a general awareness of IT operations at all times. Keeps supervisor informed of any concerns.
  • Members develop and maintain a positive relationship with both Guests and other Team Members.
  • Flexible workweek with possible additional hours required.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Team Members maintain a clean and safe work environment and complies with safety procedures, including use of required safety equipment, identifying unsafe practices or conditions, and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of the unsafe conditions.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Team Members follow security policies and procedures and reports all violations. Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
  • Performs other job-related duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrate knowledge of and experience managing various management information systems including network administration; hardware and software review, purchase, support, and installation; and telecommunication systems support.
  • Demonstrate experience supervising employees in IT operations.
  • Demonstrate experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
  • Demonstrate experience problem solving and organizing and prioritizing work.
  • Project management and documentation skills.
  • Elevated level of initiative and dedication.
  • Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player and willingness to lend a hand with any project.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred, or the equivalent in education and experience. Five (5) or more years of recent and related management information systems experience, including one (1) year of managerial experience. Experience with Casino management systems required, Konami preferred (Oracle).
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. These language skills must be executed in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Driver’s License and safe driving record required.
  • Colorado Limited Gaming Support License.
  • Bloodborne pathogens training.
