Description
Description The IT Manager is responsible for providing a robust hardware & software environment to support the business users, instituting protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects. The IT Manager will represent the Company and its core values and will ensure that the expectations of the Company’s customers are exceeded by performing the following: Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Institute protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects. 2. Manage the use of AI within the organization, allowing users to utilize tools to drive efficiency whilst maintaining data security and integrity. 3. Provide advice on the most suitable IT choices. 4. Provide recommendations on integrations of software. 5. Provide technical support or training for systems and networks. 6. Install and configure software and hardware (printers, network cards etc.). 7. Monitor system and network performance. 8. Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration. 9. Perform maintenance activities (e.g. backups). 10. Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules. 11. Collaborate with other industry professionals to maintain standards and functionality. 12. Manage contracts and maintain relationships with external service providers. 13. Maintain systems and policies in compliance with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 requirements. Requirements 1. Experience in network management and help desk support. 2. Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications. 3. Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues. 4. Written and verbal communication skills. 5. Analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Qualifications: 1. BSc/BA in information technology or computer science, preferred. 2. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT infrastructure management and support. Work Environment Requirements: 1. Office, warehouse and manufacturing environments. 2. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
