General Purpose: The IT Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all internal IT systems and services. This includes managing help desk operations, leading IT initiatives, ensuring system efficiency and security, and providing technology support across several related internal companies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of IT experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong background in help desk systems, network administration, and project management.
  • Experience supporting both office and industrial/field-based users is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft solutions and administration including Azure, InTune, Exchange, Sharepoint and Defender.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and basic skills in PowerPoint.
  • Working experience with LAN and WAN environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft FabricPower BI is a plus.
  • Experience in MS SQL scripting and Crystal Report writing is a plus.
  • Experience in Cyber security and CIS controls is a plus.
  • Organized, self-motivated, good judgement, attention to detail, and good prioritization skillsets.
  • Ability to attain and promote good employee relationships.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and implement.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise help desk staff and other IT personnel.
  • Provide coaching, direction, and performance feedback.
  • Prioritize incoming service requests and assign support tasks effectively.
  • Oversee daily IT support and help desk operations.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships, hardware/software procurement, and licensing.
  • Plan and lead IT projects to meet company goals.
  • Assess current IT infrastructure, identify gaps, and implement improvement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, data privacy, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Partner with leaders from HR, Accounting, and other departments to align IT initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with end users at all levels.
  • Maintain documentation of systems, procedures, and workflows.
  • Provide full IT support and guidance to multiple entities under the same ownership.
  • Act as liaison and central point of contact for IT services across shared services companies.
  • Assist with maintaining the Company intranet.
  • Stay informed of emerging technologies and trends relevant to Company needs.
  • Recommend and pilot tools that improve operational efficiency.
