Description Reporting to the Head of Finance, this hands-on IT Manager is the main point of contact and subject matter expert for all system and software solutions at Netafim North America. The role is responsible for identifying and implementing innovative technology solutions that drive business value, aligning IT initiatives with both local and global business objectives. The IT Manager acts as a strategic partner to the business, ensuring that IT systems and processes are designed to support and enhance business operations. This includes deep engagement with business process owners to understand operational needs, map and optimize workflows, and ensure IT investments deliver measurable business outcomes. The role also represents Netafim USA (NII) in global technology projects, providing local expertise on regulatory matters and best practices. Key Responsibilities · Serve as the primary contact for resolving user, local system, infrastructure, and network issues, collaborating with Head Office (Israel) and Global Service Desk (India) and global teams as needed. · Manage and develop IT and communications resources to support business objectives, focusing on operational efficiency and value creation. · Partner with business leaders to collect, define, and analyze business process requirements, ensuring IT solutions are aligned with business strategy and drive process improvement. · Provide first-level IT business support and proactively identify opportunities for innovative solutions, leveraging both new technologies and new applications of existing technologies. · Lead IT projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and tracking value delivered. · Represent Netafim USA (NII) in global technology initiatives, sharing local insights and regulatory expertise. · Prepare and manage the IT budget, addressing procurement needs and ensuring cost-effective investments. · Manage vendor relationships to maximize value and service quality. · Develop and maintain documentation and processes for ticket resolution (NetIT), promoting ITIL best practices. · Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans. · Foster a customer-centric IT operating model that is fast, flexible, and adapts to evolving business needs. · Champion digital transformation and business process optimization, co-creating solutions with business units to enable data-driven, sustainable, and profitable growth. Requirements Qualifications and Experience · Tertiary qualification in IT or related field. · Strong understanding of business and industrial processes, with experience in ERP systems (SAP preferred). · Advanced knowledge of computing software, hardware, networks, databases, programming logic, and data modeling. · Familiarity with ITIL methodology and experience supporting Office 365, Azure, Windows OS, Outlook, Citrix, LAN/WAN, and cloud computing. · Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage. · Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with a proven track record of delivering business value through technology. · Customer-centric mindset and ability to enhance the customer experience through IT solutions. · Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated by resolving business challenges with technology. · Ability to build positive, long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders. · Agility and resilience in managing change and embracing challenges.
