Description:

TheInformation Technology Manager performs the duties outlined below andcollaborates extensively with other groups and departments within OMAX toleverage technology solutions to improve all associates efficiency in theirrespective job functions.
Theselected candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of technologyservices provided to OMAX associates. The Information Technology Managerperforms tasks with minimal supervision and is expected to lead a team oftechnicians, administrators and systems engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 7+ years’ directtechnical systems support and administration experience with progressiveincrease in areas of responsibilities required. Minimum of 2 years in aleadership, supervisory, or management position required.
· Advanced workingknowledge in several of the following areas: Windows or Linux servermanagement, cloud services (AWS or Azure), network administration, databasesystems (MS SQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Oracle), telecommunication platforms,information security, disaster recovery planning, e-commerce, businessintelligence/analytics, automation scripting (PowerShell/Bash), web servermanagement (Apache)
· Ideal candidate willhave a strong and in-depth understanding of relational database design, datawarehousing, SQL query creation and web application development;
· Excellent oral/written communications and organizational skills with an emphasis on customerservice. Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and workin a high energy, fast paced, ever changing environment
· Strongproblem-solving skills and ability to react quickly to resolve issues.Self-motivated, positive attitude, high-energy individual who can multitaskwell
· Ability to workboth independently and collaboratively with others toward mutual objectives andable to influence across non-direct reports on cross functional teams
· Continuousimprovement mindset with the ability and desire to develop creative solutionsto problems and continuously improve systems and processes
· Bachelor’s degreein Computer Science or related field. A combination of technical training anddirect experience in lieu of educational requirements will be considered
· Manufacturingindustry or Oracle ERP experience a plus

Responsibilities:

· Manage, mentor andguide the OMAX Information Technology team to successfully deliver technologyservices to all OMAX associates
· Create a teamenvironment that is focused on customer service, continuous improvement, innovation,effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
· Coordinate andoversee multiple projects, priorities, and tasks in progress simultaneously andeffectively communicate expectations with team members and cross-functionalstakeholders
· Responsible for managementof server infrastructure (on-premise & cloud), business applications, localarea network operations, information security standards and implementations,database/data warehousing, business intelligence, e-commerce,telecommunications, system backups and disaster recovery planning
· Ensure ERP systemoperational availability and enable system scalability to meet futurerequirements
· Coordinate teamefforts with software development team and participate in the softwaredevelopment lifecycle of OMAX’s ERP system
· Oversee operationsof business applications including MS Office/Exchange, MariaDB/MySQL, MS SQL,Dynamics Great Plains
· Implement andenforce information security policies and manage/approve changes to userpermission models and ACLs
· Ensure effectiveresolution of helpdesk requests/technical support issues and facilitateeffective communication between company associates
· Review and approveall computer software/hardware and technology services procurement
· Participate in thestrategic planning and budgeting process for technology initiatives
· Perform all otherduties as deemed necessary by the department Director
