Description The IT Manager is responsible for leading the Information Technology department and ensuring that all systems and infrastructure across One80 Place’s three campuses operate securely, efficiently, and effectively. This role plays a critical part in supporting a 24/7 service environment, enhancing organizational performance, and enabling staff to deliver high-quality services to clients. Exempt, In-Person Work Requirements Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required • 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure support (networks, servers, desktops, printers, vendors, databases, phones, security, and help desk troubleshooting) • Experience managing complex IT environments across multiple worksites • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Experience with project management and departmental budgeting • Excellent communication and people skills Key Responsibilities: • Oversee IT operations under the direction of the Operations Director, ensuring system reliability and efficiency in a 24/7 environment • Continuously evaluate and improve organizational IT systems to enhance service quality and operational effectiveness • Provide responsive, customer-focused support to staff, clients, volunteers, board members, and vendors, including individuals with limited technical skills • Foster a collaborative and innovative departmental culture • Manage installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems • Oversee server and network infrastructure, including backups and disaster recovery solutions • Partner with long-term IT vendors to ensure infrastructure security, integrity, and availability • Administer firewalls, antivirus software, system patches, password protocols, documentation, and security audits • Plan and execute IT projects, including infrastructure expansion (e.g., new worksite at 573 Meeting Street in 2025), software upgrades, and system improvements • Maintain and evaluate vendor relationships to support organizational needs • Assess emerging technologies and recommend adoption or upgrades • Collaborate with leadership to develop IT policies and procedures aligned with best practices • Develop and manage equipment inventory systems, including rotation and replacement planning • Provide staff training on IT best practices through individual and group sessions • Pursue continuing education on-the-job to advance IT knowledge and skills • Perform other duties as assigned Reports to: Operations Director
