Description

We are looking for an IT Manager to join our growing business, this is a full time management role based out of our Head Office in Blanchardstown. In this role you will have full responsibility for the information technology of the business.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage & collaborate with the IT third party support function.
  • Coordination of the functions of all computer systems of the organisation and ensuring that all hardware, software, networks, and related applications work correctly and efficiently.
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.
  • Responsible for device management to include operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
  • Lead computer-related initiatives across the business in order to meet business needs.
  • Plan projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage staff working on those projects.
  • Establish and maintain an information Security Management System for the business that meets the requirements of the ISO 27001:2023/A1:2024 standard.
  • Act as the key point of contact for external consultants and certification bodies in relation to external audits of the Information Security Management System
  • Responsible for the security and integrity of the Company’s network and data to include but not limited to firewalls, GDPR compliance & file management systems.
  • GDPR compliance - act as GDPR subject-matter expert in respect of data systems, permissions and obligations for electronic data.
  • SharePoint - manage and guide the team in SharePoint to include training. Oversee the SharePoint project in the business.
  • To provide the necessary hardware, with the appropriate maintenance and renewal.
  • Create, develop, and manage policies, strategies and operations in relation to Information Technology
  • Develop and maintain the disaster recovery plan for the IT infrastructure
  • Ability to design, engineer and implement appropriate Information Technology
  • Stay informed about new technology and enhancements by researching and evaluating emerging technologies.
  • Ability to handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
  • Develop an effective troubleshooting and technical support model to meet internal IT user requirements.
  • Build a professional relationship with service providers & suppliers.
  • Budgets: Manage budget & cost analysis by reviewing regularly and ensuring the Company receive value from providers and suppliers.
  • Recruit, maintain & develop the skills necessary within the team.
  • Any other duties as required by the Company.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant IT or IT & Business qualification, at third level
  • Previous experience at management level
  • Experience of leading a team
  • Proven ability to communicate technical issues with non-technical staff
