IT Manager Full-time (40 hours), Shift: Monday-Friday, first shift Sojourner Family Peace Center employs dedicated, hardworking professionals who want to be of service to others and make a difference in Milwaukee and surrounding communities. Overview The IT Manager is responsible for a wide variety of hardware and software support. Duties include installing and maintaining hardware and software products, including configuring PC and network equipment according to department standards. This position is required to evaluate and maintain a strategic plan addressing the future IT needs that will align with Sojourner’s mission. The IT Manager represents Sojourner at IT-related meetings. The IT Manager will also interact with agency partners residing at the Family Peace Center and their IT organizations. This individual will receive and respond to support desk calls and provide troubleshooting, testing, and solution implementation. The development and implementation of trainings and training materials, in collaboration with the HR department may be required. Responsible for maintaining all hardware related to agency network operations. To include but not be limited to computers, monitors, peripherals, networking devices, cellular technology, etc. 2. Maintain servers, systems, and databases, including: Outlook, Office 365, Office Suite, Exchange Server, SQL Server, VMware Servers, Windows Server, Osnium, CYMA Asset Keeper, eVisitorPass, and Continuum. 3. Represent the agency at all internal IT-related meetings. 4. Interact with Partner agencies residing at the Family Peace Center and their IT organizations. 5. Assign network permissions to end-users and security groups, enforce computer security policies, and troubleshoot VPN issues. 6. Perform preventive maintenance on all related hardware. Including but not limited to testing and troubleshooting computer system(s) to identify problems, utilizing diagnostic programs to perform routine preventative maintenance, periodic upgrades, cleaning, dust removal, etc. 7. Purchase of computer equipment, assist in the replacement and configuration of all technology equipment, software, and programs. 8. Responsible for maintaining the VoIP phone system and working with users to maximize utilization. 9. Responsible for maintaining the Audio Visual systems at the Family Peace Center facility and working with users to maximize utilization. 10. Responsible for maintaining the Family Peace Center building-wide email distribution list. 11. Demonstrate excellent Customer service skills when working with employees and partners. 12. Train staff on the use of computer software and office equipment. 13. Develops and manages the IT budget, a subset of the overall administrative department’s annual operating budget. 14. Travel to various Sojourner offices throughout the Milwaukee area when needed to provide IT support.   15. On-call duties as needed 24 hours per day/7 days per week. 16. Design and implement IT strategies and infrastructure that align with the agencies needs and mission. 17. Ability to work a regular schedule and have regular attendance at the workplace. 18. Practice agency policies and safety in the workplace. 19. Participate in all mandatory meetings and trainings. 20. Uphold and exhibit the agency’s Core Values. 21. All other work-related duties and projects as assigned.   Supervisory Responsibilities  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure that employees are aware of, read and understand agency and department policies. Hold staff accountable for adhering to handbook and all other agency policies, attending new hire orientation, mandatory trainings and meetings. Required Education and Experience Minimum of 10 years of experience providing IT support; Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
