We invest globally across a broad range of asset classes, including private equity, real estate, public equities, fixed income, and alternatives, with the goal of delivering sustainable value across market cycles. www.sunventure.com Description The IT Manager will act as the single point of contact for the firm’s day-to-day IT operations and the execution of the firm’s technology roadmap. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our technology infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and alignment with business objectives: Lead the identification, evaluation, contracting, and ongoing performance management of IT and data vendors. Maintain the outsourcing register, conduct periodic vendor risk reviews, and manage the IT budget for cost optimisation. Own the design, operation, and assurance of network and security controls. Manage the outsourced SOC/MDR partner, drive incident response, run vulnerability and patch management, and own disaster recovery and BCP testing for IT systems. Own the Microsoft Fabric data platform, administering capacity, lakehouse and warehouse environments, and security. Partner with stakeholders to onboard datasets, support self-service analytics, and ensure well-governed reporting. Ensure employees have reliable, secure devices, productivity tools (including AI tools), and workplace technology. Oversee employee onboarding/offboarding and helpdesk support, with the assistance of the IT Support Analyst. Assess commercial viability of stakeholder-initiated IT projects, then plan and deliver approved projects with the requesting teams. Act as product owner and escalation point for in-house applications integrations (including MT940 host-to-host, ETL pipelines, FX/Cash daily processes, document portal). Champion firmwide AI adoption, evaluate new tools, establish usage standards, and provide IT leadership for commercially viable agentic AI projects. Maintain the IT policy suite, standards, and risk register. Produce regular IT management reports on performance, risk, incidents, projects, and expenditure. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Professional certifications and project management credentials will be an advantage. At least 5-8 years of progressive managerial experience in IT Infrastructure and IT operations, with at least 2 years in a financial services environment. Demonstrated hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune, and production experience with Microsoft Fabric. Possess understanding and technical knowledge of application integration, APIs, and SaaS platforms. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented language. Strong vendor negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
