We are now actively recruiting for an experienced IT Manager to join our team in Glasgow. The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing both our internal information technology operations, ensuring the alignment of IT infrastructure and services with business goals as well as support to customers within our portfolio. This role involves managing IT staff, implementing technology solutions, and maintaining IT security and compliance standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and security.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with cloud services and virtualisation technologies.
  • Familiarity with network management and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP are advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure.
  • Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with other departments to integrate IT systems with company processes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly to minimise downtime.
  • Provide technical support in a hybrid infrastructure environment, including Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Undertake root cause analysis of incidents and follow up through Problem Management processes.
  • Ensure adherence to all IT procedures, processes, and solutions
