REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar degree
  • 3-5+ years of experience as an IT Manager, Network Admin, or IT Analyst role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software, licensing, and networking administration.
  • Knowledge and/or prior experience with Epicor ERP software a major plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems
  • Familiarity with IT support techniques and processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information effectively

    Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

The IT Manager - System Admin will be responsible for managing the company’s computer infrastructure and platforms, including maintaining software licenses, IT department operations, network administration, service requests/support, setting up new/current employee hardware & access, production software integration, and developing strategies for ongoing technology life cycles.
This role will report to the Chief Executive Officer, and involves close collaboration with senior leadership and third-party vendors/service providers. Standard office hours are from 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday, but additional hours may be required for larger projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead IT operations projects to deliver results, including but not limited to software/licensing management, network and server administration, internet and phone services management, firewall, system backups, disaster recovery, and standard office support.
  • Create, establish, and update IT strategies, budgets, processes, policies, and procedures for the discussion and approval of Executive leadership.
  • Manage and audit software licensing, including: Windows, Microsoft, CMM, Master Cam, Minitab, SolidWorks, Epicor, DNC, etc.
  • Provide office technical support and troubleshooting, and act as a liaison with third-party IT consultants/vendors when needed.
  • Install, setup, and configure computer hardware, software, and user account access/permissions for new and current employees.
  • Monitor network/system performance and ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement IT solutions.
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide timely resolution to technical issues.
  • Assist with the procurement and installation of new hardware and software.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures and configurations.
  • Support the company’s mission, vision, and values in performance of daily activities.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following safety rules/guidelines, company policies, standards, and procedures.
