QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 2+ years work experience in technical capacity providing end user support and/or supporting & managing a networked computing environment
  • Experience in hospitality or gaming strongly preferred
  • Technical certifications a plus: MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA, A+, etc.
  • Experience in Telecommunications/Networking design and implementation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to interact with hotel guests as required.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills, effective strategic planning, and ability to multi-task.
  • Self motivated and capable of working unsupervised
  • Working knowledge of Windows Servers/Clients, Active Directory, MS Office
  • Expert at Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Ability to successfully handle many diverse projects simultaneously
Responsibilities
  • Ensure acceptable performance in computing and network systems
  • Assist in setting the overall technical vision of the hotel
  • Manage vendors to implement and support applications
  • Provide end user support for desktop, laptops and network related problems
  • Setup computer software and hardware for new/existing staff, including user accounts
  • Maintain complete and accurate software/hardware inventory, ensure software licensing compliance.
  • Monitor server performance, disk space, error logs, and backups of critical systems
  • Provides on-call and after hours service and support for systems, desktops and network
  • Manage telecom system and coordinate repairs and moves/adds/changes with telecom vendors
  • Provide Support to hotel guests for computer and telecom issues
  • Perform any other job responsibilities as assigned
