MIN. ACADEMIC EDUCATION

Secondary education with formal training in IT systems, business software and/or web-based applications. Certifications in ITIL/hardware/software management/application and/or MCP are an asset.
University Degree (Bachelor´s degree) in computer science, information technology, engineering or equivalent field will be given due consideration, but it is not a requirement.

MIN. YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 5 years (with Secondary education) or 2 years (with bachelor’s degree) of progressively responsible project experience is required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Solid knowledge and practical experience in assisting project implementation;
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication, and abilityto work in a team
• Strong report writing skills
• Solid networking capacity

DESIRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Experience in Database Administrator/Mail Server Administrator/Network Administrator/Network Monitoring/IT Security
• Experience includes IT security operations and management (ex: vulnerability management/ IT security incident response management.
• Experience handling server infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud (AWS / GCP).
• Experience working with different operating systems, such as Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.
• Experience includes Cloud Infrastructure Management using AWS/ GCP/ VMWare/ ESXi.
• Experience and basic understanding of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), routers, switches, and IPaddressing.
• Experience includes management of diverse databases using SQL databases (ex: MySQor PostgreSQL) and NoSQL database (ex: MongoDB)
• Experience includes configuration and management of routers, switches, and firewalls using Fortinet/ Cisco ASA/ Mikrotik/ VLAN/ VPN
• Experience includes Network Monitoring using Nagios/ Cacti/ PRTG/ Munin,
