Your responsibilities:

- Support, management, and further development of the entire IT network and security infrastructure

- Administration and monitoring of firewalls (preferably Checkpoint), switches, and routers (preferably Cisco Meraki)

- Networking and securing of data centers and cloud environments (focus on Azure)

- Implementation and maintenance of network security solutions (IDS/IPS, VPN, SIEM)

- Conducting and supporting security audits, risk management, penetration tests, and ISO 27001 requirements

- Reviewing and further developing IT policies, conducting internal controls

- Organizing and conducting user training, awareness campaigns, and phishing tests

- Close collaboration with international colleagues and external IT service providers

- Participation in international projects in the field of IT security and network infrastructure

Your profile:

- Completed studies in IT networks, cybersecurity, or a comparable field

- Relevant certifications are an advantage (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Security+, etc.)

- At least 5 years of practical professional experience in IT networking and security

- Sound knowledge of firewall management, network architecture, cloud security (MS Azure), as well as security tools and SIEM solutions

- Experience with Windows Server, VMware ESX/vSphere, and M365 security and governance topics is an advantage

- Independent, solution-oriented, and structured work style

- Team player with intercultural competence and experience in international project work

- Excellent communication skills and fluent written and spoken English

- Proactive, detail-oriented, and responsible personality with a positive attitude
