JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and organised individual to join our team as an IT Officer. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to various departments while also assisting with IT-related tasks and projects. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a flair for administrative and IT tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as an IT assistant or IT officer
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel and Word)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • GCSE/ Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Handle information requests
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment
  • Liaise with the IT department to resolve technical issues and provide support to staff
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
