Currently our IT team is seeking an IT Officer to join the team! The IT Officer will support both standalone and enterprise computerised systems within the Quality Laboratories and Operations Departments.

Key responsibilities for the role are:

• Responsible for local administration of systems, both standalone and enterprise following standard procedure.
• Manage user access and reviews for all GxP systems.
• Supporting audit trail data requests from the Business.
• Provide backup support for standalone instruments in Quality and Operations departments.
• Monitor and action backup for all connected GxP systems in conjunction with Global IT.
• Support equipment and system uptime and operation, investigate and resolve low level issues.
• Escalate high level issues to SMEs and management as appropriate.
• Support local CSV teams with execution of validation deliverables.
• Ensure activities comply with GMP, legal and ethical standards.

Criteria for the role are:

• Tertiary qualifications in IT, Science or similar
• Previous experience in similar role within IT or Scientific industry
• Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
• Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment.
• Can understand technical documents and can communicate description of problems and solutions
• Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.
• Ability to perform functions autonomously
