JOB DESCRIPTION

The Operations Analyst’s role is to ensure that the performance obligations of in-house computing systems are met by gathering and analyzing data in support of systems management, maintenance, and performance. Serves as a subject matter expert in desktop management and automation areas in addition to providing Level 2 IT escalation support. Applies proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve malfunctions and make the appropriate recommendations in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years of IT related work experience
  • Intermediate configuration/administration skills and in-depth experience in SCCM Current Brach
  • Experience in Sharepoint Online administration/development
  • Administration/hands-on experience with some/all of the following:
Responsibilities
  • Participate in projects and program initiatives as technical SMEs in the areas of desktop computing, automation, configuration and equipment set up, images and software installations, support and productivity tools, monitoring and automated updates.
  • Install new software releases and system upgrades, participate in change management and release management planning.
  • Plan, test and install system updates and assist in coming up with the annual Operations roadmap for refreshes and upgrades.
  • Assist database administrators, programmers, software engineers and network analysts in the deployment and performance analysis of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity.
