You thrive in your mission because: 

• You will be the point of contact for the stable and secure operation of the network and security infrastructure at a well-known international customer in the semiconductor industry in Dresden. You will monitor the infrastructure, process incidents and service requests, and conduct initial technical and fault analyses.
• Whenever there are issues, changes, maintenance, updates, or commissioning, you will provide support for the technical implementation – both remotely and directly on-site at the customer's location in Dresden. This includes checking network connections, components, and cabling.
• You will be responsible for hardware replacement and will manage RMA and exchange processes. In the event of critical operational disruptions and major incidents, you will coordinate manufacturers, international partners, and technical specialists as needed.
• In your role, you will document malfunctions, solutions, and technical measures in a traceable manner and ensure structured shift handovers. Through your shift work, you and your team will contribute to the continuous availability of the IT infrastructure.
• Last but not least, you actively contribute to the further development of operational processes and the continuous improvement of our service quality.

Your skills? More than interesting: 

• Completed vocational training or studies in the field of computer science, IT systems engineering, communications engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Practical experience in the operation or support of network or security infrastructures, as well as in handling ticketing, monitoring, or network management systems.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VLANs; knowledge of ITIL-oriented operational processes, data center or production environments, as well as Cisco, firewall, and security technologies are advantageous. Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP) and experience with automation or scripting are desirable.
• Excellent German skills as well as advanced English skills in a business context and/or Mandarin.
• Willingness to work on-site at the customer's location in Dresden and to work in shifts, including night, weekend and holiday shifts.
