OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our IT infrastructure and operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing IT services, ensuring optimal performance of systems, and leading a team of IT professionals. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a deep understanding of various technologies, including cloud services, networking, and security protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel), Adobe and various types of office equipment
  • Strong understanding of cloud services (Azure, AWS, Entra, MS365, SharePoint and Teams)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, compliance frameworks and data protection regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and on-technical teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing and fast-moving environments
  • Ability to multitask with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily IT operations, including network, server, storage, and application performance.
  • Ensure availability, security, and reliability of IT systems and services.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for IT support and incident management.
  • Supervise and mentor IT support, network, and systems administration staff.
  • Allocate tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance to ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide professional development opportunities
  • Oversee and monitor help desk performance ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction
  • Ensure prompt and effective resolution of incidents, problems and service requests
  • Manage on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
  • Coordinate maintenance, upgrades and patches for hardware and software programs
  • Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures and awareness programs
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal controls and data privacy requirements
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts, vulnerabilities and incidents
  • Manage vendor relationships for IT products, services and contracts
  • Negotiate service agreements and monitor vendor performance
  • Prepare and manage the IT operations budget
  • Contribute to IT strategy and roadmap development in alignment with business goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and service enhancements
  • Provide end users with technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Respond to email and calls for technical questions and queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide support using remote connection software
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding users.
  • Maintain and update door access systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment, software, and licenses.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade PC hardware and software.
  • Assist with conference room events and meetings.
  • Write training materials for end users.
  • Assist with creation of IT documentation.
  • Install, modify, repair office equipment including VoIP phones, printers and MFP’s.
  • Assist end users with mobile phone issues.
  • Use and provide thorough documentation on each customer interaction in the ticketing system.
