Overview of the Role The IT Operations Manager to lead our IT department and ensure the smooth operation of our organization's technology infrastructure. This resource will have a strong technical background combined with excellent leadership and management skills to effectively oversee a team of IT professionals. Main duties include: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and other hardware. Ensure the availability, performance, and security of all IT systems and services. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Monitor security systems, including SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions. Analyze security alerts and logs to identify potential security incidents or anomalies. Manage a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff. Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Develop and implement incident response procedures to address IT emergencies and minimize downtime. Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to procure IT equipment and services. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in IT operations management, with at least 4-5 years in a leadership role. In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, and cloud technologies. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
