What will you do?
Your Key Responsibilities will be:
- Installation & Configuration Expertise: Set up and configure workstations, user management, drivers, applications, licenses for end users.
- Production & Prototyping Pipelines: Support and optimize our GitLab CI/CD pipelines, monitor the render farm, and maintain our internal Linux prototyping environment.
- Troubleshooting Expertise: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Inventory Management: Track and manage team assets (licenses, hardware, peripherals, etc.), ensuring accurate records and efficient resource allocation.
- Help Desk Support: Provide timely assistance to users via chat, phone, remote access or in-person interactions, delivering effective solutions to technical problems.
- Documentation: Generate documentation for common procedures and troubleshooting steps within our knowledge base (primarily Confluence/Jira).

- 3+ years of profound work experience in the field
- Proactivity: Problem-solver who anticipates technical bottlenecks, takes initiative, and escalates complex issues effectively..
- Advanced Windows Knowledge: Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot hardware compatibility, and perform network tasks (DNS refresh, VPN, domain joining, remote access setup).
- Computer Management Expertise: Confident in configuring BIOS settings, swapping hardware components, and optimizing high-performance systems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communicator and reliable team player who adapts easily to fast-changing requirements.
- Language: Business-level communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel between our German offices (Berlin, Ingolstadt, Munich and Wiesbaden) as needed. Office attendance in Berlin is at least 2-3 days per week.
- Enthusiasm to learn and develop professionally.
- Basic Linux Knowledge: Comfortable navigating Linux environments, managing directories, and installing software from the command line.
Nice to have, but not essential:
- Experience with installing and maintaining Amazon Thinkbox Deadline.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience with coding small helper tools.
- Advanced to expert Linux skills.
- Fluent German language skills.
