Job Title IT Operations Specialist II Location 222 S Harbor Blvd, #720, Anaheim, CA 92805 Salary $80,000 - $100,000/year Position Type Full-time Exempt (Salaried) Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Hybrid after 90 days – 3 days in office/2 days remote Reports to IT Manager Position Overview: DB Insurance is seeking a proactive and solutions-driven IT Operations Specialist to support core system operations and enterprise IT functions. This role involves maintaining key systems such as the Assure Policy platform, managing change requests, ensuring data privacy compliance, coordinating with vendors, supporting UAT, and handling incident resolution and documentation. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in IT operations within the insurance industry, experience with similar platforms, knowledge of data privacy regulations, and strong communication and coordination skills. Key Responsibilities: Enterprise Systems Administration: Manage and maintain core operational platforms to ensure seamless integration and continuity of overall insurance business processes. Data Privacy Compliance: Ensure compliance with Americas' data privacy regulations (CCPA, NYDFS, etc.) and conduct regular audits. Change Management (PCR): Manage Project Change Requests (PCR) and provide technical support for new projects. Vendor Management: Handle technical communication and Service Level Agreement (SLA) management with external IT vendors, such as DXC. UAT Support: Support the stabilization of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during system updates and functional enhancements. Incident Management: Analyze root causes of system failures and manage resolution schedules. Documentation: Update and maintain system operation processes and security response manuals. Qualifications: Experience: 6+ years of experience in IT operations or core system management (3+ if within the insurance industry) Platform Knowledge: Experience in operating Assure Policy, Assure Claims, Sapiens, or similar insurance and/or business solutions. Compliance Understanding: Knowledge of data privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR, etc.) and financial industry security regulations. Project Management: Proficiency in system change management and lifecycle management. Vendor Coordination: Ability to collaborate with external solution vendors and coordinate technical requirements. Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for collaborating with relevant departments (Accounting, Sales) and external partners. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows OS and MS Office suite; strong software troubleshooting and resolution capabilities. Communication: Proficiency in Korean is a plus but not required.
