About Nteractive IT Operations Specialist Location: Staines, Surrey (Office-Based) At Nteractive, we deliver world-class experiences for global brands through events, creative production, and digital innovation. We’re now looking for an IT Operations Specialist to take ownership of day-to-day IT operations and help shape a more proactive, structured, and scalable IT function. This is a fully office-based role in Staines, so candidates must be within commuting distance. The IT Operations Specialist is responsible for the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of our IT environment. This role combines hands-on technical support with operational ownership across service desk, systems, access management, devices, suppliers, and process improvement. You will act as a key bridge between end-user support, infrastructure, and business operations — helping move the IT function from reactive support to a more proactive, structured operating model. What you'll be doing IT Operations & Support Manage user onboarding and offboarding, ensuring access, devices, and accounts are correctly provisioned and removed Oversee IT asset lifecycle management including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and disposal Manage the IT service desk, ensuring tickets are prioritised, tracked, and resolved in line with SLAs Provide second-line support across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint, and internal systems Act as escalation point for complex or high-impact technical issues Systems & Infrastructure Maintain and support core IT systems including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management, and SaaS platforms Monitor system performance, service trends, and operational risks, proactively resolving or escalating issues Support identity and access management processes across the organisation Supplier & Process Management Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and manage service delivery Support procurement activity and third-party service coordination Maintain IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guidance materials Support change management activity, including documentation, impact assessment, and communication Continuous Improvement Identify inefficiencies, recurring issues, and opportunities for automation Improve IT processes, workflows, and user experience Contribute to the development of a more structured and scalable IT operating model What you will bring Experience in an IT support, IT operations, or service desk environment Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management) Experience using ITSM or helpdesk systems to manage and resolve tickets Understanding of device lifecycle management (procurement through to disposal) Familiarity with identity, access management, security, backup, and compliance principles Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate appropriately Clear communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences A proactive mindset with a focus on improving processes and service delivery Desirable Experience with PowerShell, automation, or workflow optimisation tools Exposure to SaaS management, systems integrations, or frameworks such as ISO27001 Experience working with external suppliers or managed service providers Personal competencies Structured, methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving Proactive in identifying risks and improvement opportunities Strong prioritisation and workload management skills Clear communicator with strong stakeholder awareness Takes ownership and sees tasks through to completion Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment Focused on improving processes, documentation, and user experience Other requirements This is a fully office-based role in Staines (parking available) Must be within commuting distance of the office Minimum 25MB download / 2MB upload broadband speed (for occasional remote working if required) Why you'll love working here Be the go-to IT operations expert in a business where technology genuinely enables global delivery Take ownership of a broad, hands-on role across systems, support, and infrastructure Help shape a more proactive, modern IT function rather than just keeping things running Work closely with teams across a fast-paced, creative, international business See the direct impact of your work on day-to-day operations across the organisation Join a collaborative environment where ideas for improvement are encouraged and acted on Benefits 33 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays) Pension scheme (5% employee / 3% employer) Private Medical Insurance & Cash Plan Life Insurance Enhanced Maternity Pay Wellbeing & Inclusion initiatives (including EAP access) Birthday Day Off Summer Hours Volunteering Day Rewards & Recognition incentives Generous Talent Referral Scheme About us We are Experience Architects with an ambition to cultivate client trust and brand value.
