Description

Raycap S.A., a global manufacturer and supplier of electrical protection, connectivity, and power management solutions for telecommunications, energy, transportation, and other industrial markets, seeks to recruit IT/OT Applications & Automation Project Manager in Drama, Greece (On-Site) Participates in digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing operations. Focuses on automation, system integration, and Industry 4.0 solutions, bridging IT and operational technology (OT) environments. The position requires a strong technical background, particularly in software development, to effectively manage complex manufacturing-related IT projects. Responsibilities: Designing, developing, and testing automation solutions within machinery and industrial environments Identifying opportunities for process optimization through digital technologies Supporting and contributing to Industry 4.0 initiatives, including smart factory concepts and data-driven manufacturing Eliminating defects and errors within product and software development Participating in and complying with quality and IT standards, cybersecurity requirements, and industrial best practices Implementation and maintenance of custom software solutions, including machine-to-machine (M2M) integration Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, or a similar field Advanced English skills (verbal and written communication) Proficiency in maintaining automation systems and industrial IT/OT integrations Understanding of robotics (ROS), AI, and machine learning Advanced troubleshooting, multitasking, and analytical skills Proficiency in a compiled programming language such as Python, C#, VBA, Java, or other selected languages Familiarity with IoT, OPC UA, MQTT, or similar industrial communication protocols Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives Strong willingness to adapt and overcome challenging situations, and ability to keep up with the latest technologies Raycap is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
