THE OPPORTUNITY

At Goodman Fielder, we’re on a journey to transform how we operate across our manufacturing and supply chain network. We’re looking for an experienced IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of technology across our production sites in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.

In this regional role, you’ll work at the intersection of IT and OT-improving our security posture, modernising infrastructure, and driving innovation that reduces risk and enhances efficiency across our operations. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact across iconic food brands and a complex supply chain.

• This is initially a 12-month FTC with an opportunity to extend based on the project
• A desire to be based out of our Yarraville, Melbourne, VIC, Manufacturing site - We are also open to exploring candidates who are located in other central locations across AU
• A flexible hybrid working culture
• Regular travel across our APAC manufacturing sites will be required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead audit and gap analysis of IT/OT architecture across sites to identify risks and recommend improvements
• Contribute to the design and delivery of key automation and infrastructure projects
• Provide expert BAU support across IT-managed production and supply chain systems
• Drive security compliance by aligning with industry standards and group policies
• Design and standardise converged OT/IT networks, including security hardening, remote access, integration, backup/recovery, and inventory management
• Offer technical guidance and support to local engineers and site leaders
• Champion innovation that enables the convergence of IT and OT landscapes across the region
