Yara UK and Ireland is part of the global company Yara International ASA.
We are leader in the product development, manufacture and marketing of speciality nutrients & biostimulant products for use in regenerative agriculture worldwide. The business has grown significantly in recent years and has continued ambitious growth objectives for its Biological products. To meet this growth a new Global Production plant is currently being built in Howden, UK.
We are seeking an IT/OT Support Engineer (Information Technology / Operational Technology) to join our team in Howden.
Reporting to the Production Manager in this role, you will be responsible in supporting the production site with all operational IT systems to maintain IT systems and Operating Technology infrastructure.
This role requires cross-functional expertise in enterprise IT systems (e.g., networks, servers, cybersecurity) and industrial control systems (e.g., SCADA, PLCs, sensors).

The main responsibilities for this role are:

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support OT devices.
• Administer and secure industrial networks.
• Implement change control procedures and maintain documentation for OT assets.
• Perform general maintenance, security updates, upgrades, diagnostics, and data backups of DCS workstations or servers.
• Responsible person for achieving and maintaining compliance with company cybersecurity policy.

• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for both IT and OT environments.

• IT Support - ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software, networks, servers etc.

• Follow ITIL-based service management processes (incident, problem, and change management)
