As an accessibility process analyst in the Progressive User Research and Accessibility Services organization, you’ll work with the Accessibility Service Management team to identify improvements and enhance the processes to support: the delivery of the Accessibility Champions program, Progressive’s Auxiliary Aids services, and workplace accommodation services. You’ll collaborate with the Accessibility Services team in the registration of candidates, delivery of training content and support for program community building activities. In addition, you’ll collaborate with customer service organizations in the ongoing support and maintenance of the auxiliary aid and accessibility support of consumers and agents.
This is a remote position with occasional travel to an office for a meeting and/or training.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree of higher in a Business or Technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math) and a minimum of four years of work experience in technical infrastructure, IT Process design/process improvement or IT Project Management positions.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of six years of related work experience in technical infrastructure, IT Process design/process improvement or IT project management positions.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, business partners, and user experience roles, including defining challenges, developing approaches, and contributing to Accessibility Capability Maturing strategy.
  • Knowledge of WCAG and experience using accessibility testing tools (Evinced, WAVE, CCA, PDF Checker) and assistive technologies, such as screen readers (JAWs, NVDA, VoiceOver) and CPACC certifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to set clear expectations and adapt messaging for various audiences, including colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, demonstrating initiative in managing tasks overtime and driving efforts forward.
  • Strong experience with Agile and Lean with the ability to apply Lean concepts to process improvement utilizing tools such as Agile Place, BMC Helix, Blue Works Live, and Visio.
