EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of experience in IT procurement, IT asset management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing software licenses, SaaS subscriptions, and IT hardware inventory.
  • Experience working with procurement systems, asset tracking tools, and vendor management.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of software licensing models and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management abilities.
  • Proficiency with asset management and procurement software tools.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate cost optimization opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across IT, procurement, and finance teams.
  • Knowledge of ITIL asset management best practices preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware, software, and cloud-based services, from procurement to disposal.
  • Maintain accurate records of all IT assets in the asset management system.
  • Track and ensure compliance with all software licensing agreements.
  • Monitor and manage renewals for licenses, subscriptions, and maintenance agreements.
  • Optimize license utilization to reduce unnecessary costs and ensure appropriate allocation of resources.
  • Oversee SaaS and cloud service subscriptions, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and budget.
  • Work with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and service-level agreements.
  • Partner with procurement and finance teams to align IT purchasing with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Provide reporting on IT asset inventory, utilization, compliance status, and cost trends.
  • Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and best practices for IT procurement and asset management.
  • Support IT audits by providing asset documentation and compliance reports.
  • Stay current on industry trends, licensing models, and emerging technologies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
