ABOUT THE ROLE

This role will sit within Student Lifecycle Systems in the TAFE NSW Corporate Platforms Directorate of the TAFE NSW Digital Solutions Group. The role has a focus of providing product ownership and subject matter expertise for TAFE NSW business processes and associated student management systems related to course pricing, student fees and student finance related reporting.
The role will provide critical “Business as Usual” (BAU) level 3 support across the legacy student management system (EBS) and new platforms being progressively rolled out under the Education Technology Ecosystem Program including PeopleSoft Campus, Oracle Intelligence Advisor (OIA) and CurMS (Curriculum Management System) for course pricing, student fees/finance records and student finance reporting related functionality.
The role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining user stories to support course pricing, student fees and student finance reporting against raised defects and/or emerging features within BAU backlogs for platforms across student lifecycle systems. Working closely with the platform and business product managers to ensure user stories accurately reflect solution resolutions or new feature requirements to required expectations. The role will then work collaboratively with developers and quality assurance resources to validate user stories against features and testing acceptance criteria.
This role will actively participate in BAU sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement across student finance and student finance related functionality.
