Description

NOTE: PRIOR FEDERAL EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY, PREFERABLY SUPPORTING PROGRAMS WITHIN THE IRS OR OTHER FEDERAL AGENCIES.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT field from an accredited university.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification obtained within the last three years.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • 10+ years of IT program management experience on large-scale Federal Government contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project managers across parallel workstreams with overlapping deliverables.
  • Experience planning and executing support for enterprise-wide Agile/DevOps transitions and process improvements.
  • Oversight of enterprise PPM solution deployment, training, and governance including WRMS, IRWORKS, EDM, and BEARS integrations.
  • Familiarity with IRS’s filing season support needs and enterprise capacity planning cycles.
  • Experience managing and reporting on Service Level Agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and FOIA/audit requests.
  • Knowledge of PWS task areas such as program management, orientation and transition, operations support, capacity, and script repository.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, risk management, scheduling, and documentation control.
  • Ability to lead requirements reviews, strategy sessions, and client briefings with both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience ensuring FISMA/NIST security compliance and supporting ATO documentation for enterprise applications.
