This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.
The Program Manager – IT is responsible for leading and overseeing the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional technology programs. This role ensures alignment between business objectives and IT solutions, manages stakeholder relationships, and drives high-quality execution across multiple projects. The Senior Program Manager brings leadership, strategic thinking, and deep experience in program and project management within IT environments.

Skills:

Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead large-scale IT programs from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Manage multiple interrelated projects, working with project managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of IT initiatives.
  • Develop detailed program roadmaps, schedules, and budgets.
  • Identify and manage program risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and prioritize work.
  • Facilitate regular program reviews with leadership and stakeholders, providing clear reporting on progress and KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, data security, and IT governance.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts, leveraging Agile, Scrum, or other project delivery methodologies.
  • Mentor junior project managers and promote best practices in project and program management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10–12 years of experience in IT project/program management, with 3+ years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Proven track record managing large, complex IT programs in enterprise environments.
