Job Description Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced IT Project Manager with 10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT programs, leading teams of 30+ IT professionals, and overseeing Agile operations and development. The ideal candidate will hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification (preferred). The IT Project Manager will provide strategic leadership, effectively controlling costs, schedule, performance, and risk management. This role requires extensive experience in Agile methodologies, IT governance, and stakeholder collaboration to support Air Force operational and development activities. Key Responsibilities: Implement Agile best practices and provide coaching and support to both Government and Contractor personnel to enhance team performance. Ensure Agile frameworks align with mission objectives and operational requirements. Develop and manage IT project plans, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring projects meet cost, schedule, and performance targets. Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of IT solutions with organizational goals. Provide briefings, reports, and key audit support to Government leadership. Establish quality assurance processes, evaluate and refine all phases of the development pipeline, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Oversee a team of 30+ IT professionals, managing resources effectively to optimize Agile development and operations. Assist the Government with audit preparations, reporting, and compliance reviews related to IT program execution and security requirements. Implement controls to prevent classified data from being spilled into the unclassified REMIS system. Maintain compliance with Air Force security protocols and data handling procedures. Requirements 10+ years of IT project management experience, managing contracts with 30+ IT professionals. Extensive experience in Agile project management, IT governance, and risk management. Strong knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity, and classified data management within Air Force or DoD environments. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. PMP certification is required CSM is preferred.
