IT Program Manager We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Program Manager to guide and champion our initiatives and drive data-informed decision-making across IT. The ideal candidate is a passionate program manager with a strong background in agile practices, collaborative engagement, product As a key member of our IT team, you will oversee and ensure project delivery, metric development, KPI adherence, stakeholder alignment, team engagement, delivery accountability, and program management and execution in alignment with our greater corporate PMO department. You will work closely with multiple departments of highly skilled individuals to deliver on high impact engagements at Sumo Logic, reporting directly to the Global Head of IT and working closely with other senior and executive leadership across the company. You are a strong and experienced program manager who is passionate about building relationships and using them as the catalyst for true innovation and solution adoption. You care about taking the time to understand internal and external team member’s needs and capabilities to ensure seamless collaboration and program execution. You are comfortable in a fast-moving environment with high levels of visibility and accountability. You are patient and have a high emotional quotient (EQ) that allows you to guide, understand, and address various personalities and align them on a common goal. Ideally, you have worked in fast-moving, dynamic, and unique SMB environments and know how to navigate changing context and requirements with ease and are accustomed to creating consistency through adaptation. Responsibilities: Stakeholder Alignment and Relationship Management: Forge strong relationships with diverse stakeholders across various departments, ensuring alignment of IT program goals with company objectives and strategic roadmap goals. Cultivate trust through consistent communication, transparent decision-making, and delivery of promised results. Diverse Technical Acumen: Demonstrate a broad technical understanding across fields such as IT operations, infrastructure, solutions engineering, data engineering, and data analytics to effectively manage multifaceted IT programs. Ensure these procedures enhance efficiency and provide a structured approach to achieving departmental and program goals. Framework Construction Experience: Draw on a proven track record of building effective frameworks that guide program management within IT operations, infrastructure, solutions and data teams. Foster an environment where structured methodologies lead to predictable and scalable outcomes. Cross-Functional IT Program Leadership: Engage actively with IT operations teams, infrastructure teams, solutions engineering teams, data engineering teams, and data analytics teams in the development and execution of IT programs. Delivery of Strategic IT Initiatives: Oversee and ensure the successful completion of strategic IT initiatives that align with the organization's overall goals. Translate program objectives into operational plans that facilitate effective execution and high-impact results. Frameworks and Governance: Experience in establishing and implementing governance frameworks that align with company policies and IT best practices (i.e. ITIL and the Well-Architected Framework). Compliance and Security Knowledge: Understanding of compliance requirements and security best practices relevant to the organization's industry and technology stack. Desirable: Work Experience: Proven experience in IT program management, with a record of delivering complex IT projects and responsibility for large-scale programs. Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), CSM (Certified ScrumMaster), or equivalent. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables align with organizational goals. Strategic Planning: Demonstrated skill in long-term planning, including the development and execution of IT strategies that align with business goals. Technical Degree: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
