Job Title: IT Programme Manager Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: Circa £75,000 dependent on experience What you’ll be doing: Leadership of the network portfolio team members Support the project managers to deliver their project objectives and enable success / operational excellence by removing blockers Drive delivery and proactive management of projects within the portfolio to time, cost and quality The point of contact for any project issues, supporting resolution with customers and partners in a collaborative way Deliver succinct reporting across the portfolio in a timely manner, with focus on project performance reporting to senior leadership Your skills and experiences: Experience of project management delivery in complex , challenging environments Proven experience and understanding of managing IT projects, programmes and portfolios Recognised project management qualification or equivalent experience Competent team leadership experience Management of supplier and partner performance Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts - you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.
