JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented IT & AV Project Coordinator to join our client in Bolton. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project scheduling, liaising with engineers and subcontractors, managing procurement, and ensuring the seamless execution of IT and AV projects. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise and communication skills.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of network design and installation, IT support, and AV infrastructure.
  • Project Management: Proven experience managing projects, including budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation.
  • Communication & Coordination: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Centre, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to assess issues logically, provide practical solutions, and ensure quality outcomes.
  • Experience in the AV or IT industry is highly desirable

Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and allocate resources for IT & AV projects, ensuring efficient project execution.
  • Review engineer reports, track project progress, and ensure tasks are completed within expected timeframes.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and generate timely progress reports for stakeholders.
  • Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth project coordination.
  • Procure necessary hardware and software, managing supplier relationships to secure the best pricing.
  • Prepare, send, and follow up on quotes, sales orders, and invoices.
  • Keep project tracking systems and Excel-based records up to date.
  • Assist in the preparation and organisation of tender documentation.
