Your tasks
As PMO, you are the central coordination point for all IT projects and support the CIO in the planning, management and further development of our project portfolio.
They are responsible for, in particular:
- Planning, management and monitoring of IT projects
- Recording, structuring and prioritizing new project requirements in coordination with the CIO
- Development and maintenance of a central IT project portfolio
- Resource planning in collaboration with the IT group leaders and the specialist departments
- Deadline, milestone and progress monitoring
- Project controlling and early identification of risks and deviations
- Preparation of decision-making documents for the CIO and management
- Moderation of project meetings, workshops and status discussions
- Coordination of internal and external project managers
- Advising specialist departments on the planning and implementation of IT projects
- Ensuring uniform project management standards
- Preparation of regular management reports and KPI analyses
- Support for organizational and digitization projects
- Continuous development of project management within IT
Within the framework of approved IT projects, she takes over the technical coordination and ensures transparency regarding project progress, resources, deadlines and any risks.
Your profile:
They possess organizational talent, analytical thinking skills, and maintain an overview even when managing multiple parallel projects.
Ideally, you should bring:
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
- Alternatively, completed IT training with several years of professional experience in project management.
- Several years of experience in IT project management or in the Project Management Office (PMO)
- Experience in managing complex IT projects
