As a Project Manager, you are responsible for managing one or more dedicated projects in the field of IT software development with high complexity. You orchestrate project teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project completion — on time, on budget, and in quality. You are accountable for the implementation of project deliverables and coordinate the assigned resources as a functional lead. This includes contribution to the design and specification of requirements, including processes, interfaces, and data models, in order to provide the foundation for technical implementation in collaboration with experts from various business units and IT.

EXPERTISE & SOFT SKILLS: WHAT YOU OFFER

Academic degree in computer science or related subjects including several years of professional experience in managing software development projects (certified according to PMI or IPMA) or comparable qualifications
Experience in functional leadership of cross-functional teams and in working with agile methods and mindsets
Ability to break down and to structure complex problems into manageable pieces and make them transparent to various stakeholders
Accountable for enabling decision-making by considering all possible consequences and by taking responsibility to drive its implementation
Adaptive communication style suited to various dialogue partners and situations (in both German and English), along with strong moderation skills

Responsibilities

Management of complex software development projects within the defined time, budget, scope, and quality
Management and coordination of business requirements engineering
Risk and impediment management and mitigations
Functional, content-related, and methodological leadership of interdisciplinary project teams and relevant stakeholders. It includes establishing trustful, effective and convincing communication with all relevant stakeholders.
