The ideal candidate is comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall environments, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and committed to ensuring successful delivery of strategic IT initiatives while fostering collaboration across teams. The primary purpose of this role is to strengthen the governance, management, and monitoring of transversal IT projects delivered through either Agile or Waterfall (V-Cycle) methodologies. The Project Manager will ensure effective coordination of initiatives with significant business and organizational impact, providing strong governance, stakeholder management, risk oversight, and delivery follow-up across Central and local teams. Main Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, communicate, and control all activities associated with assigned projects throughout their lifecycle. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with business needs. Monitor project progress and ensure delivery within agreed deadlines, budget, and quality standards. Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and governance committees. Ensure the implementation of IT Governance standards, security recommendations, and best practices. Coordinate and follow up on IT assessments, audits, compliance actions, and remediation plans. Facilitate risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring activities across projects. Manage project dependencies, issues, risks, and escalation processes when required. Coordinate release planning and application deployment activities with relevant teams. Act as a facilitator between IT departments, business stakeholders, and delivery squads to remove blockers and ensure smooth project execution. Promote collaboration and effective communication across multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications Strong Project Management expertise. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Practical experience with Jira. Basic understanding of testing platforms and testing processes. Basic knowledge of Incident Management and Change Management tools and processes. Education & Professional Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management, or a related field. Between 3 and 6 years of proven experience in IT Project Management or within a Project Management Office (PMO). Experience managing complex and cross-functional IT projects. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.). Experience with IT Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Security-related topics. Familiarity with IT Security standards, controls, and assessment processes. Nice to Have Technical understanding of IT solutions, applications, and infrastructure environments. Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent. Experience working in regulated environments. Language Requirements Portuguese – Expert level. English – Expert level. French – Basic knowledge is a plus. Additional Information Availability to travel within Portugal. Availability to travel internationally as required.
